Selected work

Seven case studies show the problem, the learner, the design decision, and the measurement strategy—without exposing complete proprietary materials.

Three levels of access

Enough evidence to evaluate the work—without releasing complete source libraries, answer keys, or editable master files.

Level 1

Public case studies

Every featured project includes a seven-page protected preview focused on the learning problem and design decisions.

  • Audience and performance challenge
  • Objectives and solution architecture
  • Assessment, evaluation, and reflection

Level 3

Interview access

Expanded evidence can be presented during a scheduled interview while remaining under Michael’s control.

  • Additional pages and development evidence
  • Storyboards, revisions, and selected media

My design process

I use ADDIE, backward design, and rapid prototyping as flexible tools—not rigid checklists—to keep each solution tied to learner performance.

01

Analyze

Clarify the audience, constraints, performance gap, and evidence of success.

02

Design

Align measurable objectives, learning flow, practice, and assessment.

03

Develop

Create accessible content, job aids, media, and feedback opportunities.

04

Implement

Plan delivery, pacing, facilitator support, and learner access.

05

Evaluate

Use performance evidence and feedback to trigger focused revisions.

“Good design makes the next right action clear—and worth taking.”
About Michael

Teacher, coach, and learning designer.

I bring more than 13 years in secondary education together with adult coaching, client service, and workplace training. That combination helps me design for both understanding and action: learners know what to do, why it matters, and how to improve.

My work emphasizes learner autonomy, clear structure, meaningful practice, inclusive access, and assessments that measure the performance the instruction is meant to build.

I’m interested in instructional design and learning-experience roles where clarity, human connection, and measurable outcomes matter.
